Definitely slower. That was one thing that I didn't like with 1.0 - you'd click on SMS, for example, and have to wait a few seconds for the application to load. Not every time, but enough that you noticed it.

Now, it's a virtual guarantee that you're going to wait. I just hope that the 3G uses a faster processor or in *some* way speeds up the 2.0 experience.
